Oakland Startup Founder 101 You built the thing. It works in a demo, it looks real, and then someone asks whether it can handle a thousand users and take payments. That gap is where AI built products stall. The tools are excellent at getting you to a working prototype and almost silent about architecture, security, and everything that decides whether a product survives contact with customers. Carlos Ignacio Sanabria, Partnership Manager at Designli, has run dozens of code and UX audits on exactly these builds. He will show you what to look for, so you can find the problems before your users do. ❯❯ RSVP now at https://fi.co/e/404613/meetup to get your link and join us live! ❯ What You'll Learn: * The three places vibe coded builds fail: architecture, security, and test coverage * How to run a basic readiness check on your own build before you put it in front of customers * Why context and guardrails around AI beat raw shipping speed, and what that looks like in practice * How to move from build mode to hypothesis mode, testing assumptions instead of stacking features * How to pick a North Star Metric that tells you whether the product is actually working. ❯ Featured Speaker: * Carlos Ignacio Sanabria \- Partnership Manager @ Designli: Carlos is the Partnerships Manager at Designli,

Austin Enterprise AI Important: Register on the event website is required for admission. This meetup is for developers and platform teams who want to understand what it actually takes to move from AI experimentation to production-ready workflows. We’ll focus on how teams are redesigning their development workflows to work with AI, not just adding tools on top. That includes how to structure workflows, manage agents, and introduce the right level of control without killing developer velocity. No hype. No tool comparisons. Just a clear look at why most AI workflows fail and what actually works at scale. Who this is for: \- Beginner → intermediate software developers \- Platform engineers and DevOps folks supporting dev teams \- Anyone using \(or wanting to use\) AI tools beyond simple autocomplete Agenda: \* 5:30pm\~6:00pm: Checkin, Food and Networking \* 6:00pm\~6:15pm: Welcome/community update \* 6:15pm\~8:00pm: Tech talks and Q&A \* 8:00pm\~8:30pm: Open discussion & Mixer Tech Talk: Scaling AI Coding Agents Across the Enterprise Speaker: Stephen Kirby, Solutions Engineer @ Coder Abstract: Everyone wants AI coding agents, but putting them on developer laptops creates a new set of problems. Tool sprawl becomes impossible to govern, security and data egress are difficult to audit, and access to agents stays limited to the developers who know how to use them. As organizations look to scale AI, platform teams are left with the challenge of figuring out where these agents should

New York Open Statistical Programming Meetup External registration required at nyhackr. This month we have Mirian Lima talking about how to provide your judgement to agents. Thank you to NYU for hosting us. Everybody attending must RSVP through the registration form at nyhackr. There is a charge for in-person and virtual tickets are free. Space is extremely limited and in-person registration closes at 3 PM the day of the talk. About the Talk: Judgment is the capacity; your creative process is its observable trace. Every conversation with your agent is exactly that — a trace. You're already sharing your expertise, every day, with an audience of one. The alternative: package your judgment, keep your intent. This talk shows what that means in practice. At the UN we packaged our methodological judgment as a portable kit: a Python package, an MCP server, and a skill set that turn a generic coding agent into an opinionated pair-analyst for self-service analytics. You'll leave with a simple framework for what to package and what to keep, a structural answer to 'won't this replace me?' (it doesn't), and two public-good reasons to share your judgment." About Mirian: Mirian Lima is a research methodologist working with economic develo

DFW Pythoneers Join us for our monthly meetup! The meetup will take place in the PyTexas Discord server, so be sure to join! This month we are excited to be joined by *Shayan Ali* Speaker: *Shayan Ali* Topic: *How to Read the AI Brain* Artificial neural networks over the course of the last 5 to 6 years have grown so large and complex that humans are losing the ability to understand and interpret this artificial brain. If this continues, our society can face disastrous consequences. This talk sheds light on how these networks work and, drawing from Shayan's personal research, how we can develop that understanding for the future ahead.

Talks: Zombie Radio AI - Theatrical improvisation by LLM actors and Human quality Text-to-Speech for a Halloween party By: Alfredo Valles Description: Abstract: A Python CLI Application that performs an audio-only theater play with several LLM voice actors that improvise along the story of 4 persons trapped in a lab with Zombies. The result is a stream of audio dialog that resembles a radio program from the 30s. (In the spirit of Orson Welles' 1938 Halloween episode: "The War of the Worlds"). In contrast with radio, the user can interact with the AI actors via voice in certain key moments. To run the Text-to-speech Model locally you need a beefy CUDA graphic card, but we will also provide scripts / Dockerfiles to install the required AI models in a cloud provider. This project is perfect for a Halloween party booth. Bio: Alfredo Valles is a backend engineer with years of experience. I love Python, Linux and open source. Alfredo is also a Physicist. Way back he used machine learning in research (before it was cool). Now he is dipping his toes in the brave new world of Transformers AI models. Antler Antler wor
